Moving right along, lets get to training. No really there's a button called training but their tutorials aren't the best to get used to the game, practice rooms help immensely. But! They have a use, the tutorials in the Training panel give free shyt, good free shyt.
So open up the Training panel, and lets see what we got.
Starting from left to right, there's the tutorial you completed when you first logged into S4 after creating your character.
Weapon; Try out different weapons in free to get the hang of them or go into Intense to complete the tutorial with them and get a free temp version of that weapon to use in matches. If you complete all the weapons in intense mode, you will get a bunch of capsules as a reward. Every capsule for weapons will either drop a perm of the weapon, a temp version that can last a few days, some coupons and some pen.
Skill; Same as the Weapon tab, you try out different skills in Free or Intense mode. Clearing all Intense skills will give you a similar reward to the Weapon one, capsules that could drop a perm unique version of the skills.
Combat; This one is great for beginning S4, completing Touchdown and Deathmatch will reward you with a free temp premium outfit and an accessory.
Touchdown will get you the temp outfit, deathmatch will get you the accessory. Both last 30 days. Sadly they didn't add the Chaser tutorial so you can't try that one out yet.
Also added for the combat simulators, just a few tips. Deathmatch will show you the map Neden 1 so you can learn the layout, Touchdown will show you the map Station 2 so you can learn the layout. Both are pretty popular maps although Station 2 is more popular than Neden 1. The bots you are playing with have aim assistance/aim bot, don't get too close to the enemy ones they don't miss. Take a shield Skill though and you can shoot them while it's activated and they can't' shoot through the skill, keep an eye on that SP though it drains pretty quick. These tutorials show you the basic objective of both modes.
Edit: The tab next to Training, Arcade modes
Conquest is a simulator against bots that look like chess pieces of all things, it's actually not that bad and pretty fun with a party of 2-4 players even though you can beat it alone if you have certain weapons/skills and are comfortable with the game mechanics.
Training is similar to the Weapon training tab, you test out weapons against static enemies to see damage and get used to aiming. For completing the missions you get 100 experience and 500 pen. After completing them once though they don't give anymore exp/pen if I remember right. Not bad for getting a little extra pen though and getting used to weapons.
Scenario is the actual Arcade mode, it's for 1-4 players, you are against bots while going through a 'story' type mode explaining a little about the netsphere. It's not a bad mode, enjoyable with a team of players even though can be done alone, might be more frustrating alone though.
